HARMONIE

At KNMI we use the HARMONIE model for operational NWP and climate research. The figure describes a typical "Future Weather" approach in which we downscaled hurricane Ophelia that hit in Ireland in October 2017. However, rather than using the original boundary conditions, we modified them such that Ophelia could hit Netherlands. Would Ophelia propagate easily through the Channel, and if so, what would be the impact for the Dutch coast and the IJsselmeer.
