Now that you have got your article published, you are contacted by Food&Wellness Int. Co., a Company specialized in nutritional products. They will offer you a proposal.

Goal

You have to discuss with your research team if you accept or not the proposal, and in which terms. Read and analyze carefully the letter, and answer it by accepting or refusing the proposal, and explaining your decision.

How to proceed

• Read the letter and make a list with two columns with pro and contra ideas.
• Make a debate between all the members in your classroom.
• Meet with your team and write an answer letter. You can accept, deny or propose modifications to the initial proposal, and justify to Food&Wellness your answer.

• All medicaments and drugs must prove their efficiency before be sold to the general public.
• Science bases its progress in the integrity of researchers.
• Science needs funding to get new discoverings and solve new needs to the society.
• The effect of a protein as a supplement can be easily tested with mices, but to test it in humans is more difficult and expensive.
• Customers have the right to be honestly informed about the real properties of a product.
