Now it's time to present your results to the rest of the researchers, to decide toghether which is the best candidate human gene to follow our research. This communication event is calles Research Seminars and is usual in research teams.
To develop our Research Seminar, we will follow two steps:
Preparation and presentation of the oral communications
Construct your Oral communication using your data from Hypothesis proposal table (Step 1) and Bioinformatics Lab Notebook (Step 2) to prepare an Oral Communication with the following characteristics:
Use as a departing point the Scaffold for Scientific Oral Communications.
Workshop to decide the candidate gene
In this session, we'll have to decide which is the best human candidate gene to follow up our research.
To do so, we'll have in account:
The biologic role of the homologous gene.
The expression pattern of the homologous gene (the more specific for neurologic tissues, the better).
