Religion

The Ancient Egyptians believed in many different gods and deities and each and every one formed a different aspect of their lives. This is the reason why they are referred to as being polytheistic. This ancient civilisation built the statues of many of the gods that they believed and worshiped them every day by praying to them, decorating them and offering them food and water. This process had to be accomplished daily. Temples were also built and each one was built for a separate god or goddess.
