Shoji pixels is similar to many projects, because
"a lot of moving rods" is not a bizarre idea, like
everyone can think of it.
Inform by MIT Media Laboratory
Media laboratory unleashes its new 2.5D display
on Septemper, 2013. Actually, Prof. Ishii has been
working on this kind of device and I new it.
It was, however, just surprising when I saw that,
because I was just making a similar device.
Technically, inform has a lot of moving rods, too,
that are more established than Shoji Pixels.
Each rod is small and moves vertically because I guess
it's made for input devices replacing conventional ones
such as mouse or pen-tablets.
