Student Athletes

If you plan on playing a sport for Hopewell High School, you need to make sure that your School Counselor is aware of your plan so that you are scheduled for the appropriate classes.

VHSL Eligibility Policy

Students who wish to participate in any Virginia High School League sponsored activity must meet current VHSL requirements mandating successful completion of three (3) credits in the previous semester and be enrolled in at least three (3) subjects during the current semester.
