The fee for digging the grave will be the rate in effect at the time charged by Snyder's Excavating Service. The fee for digging a cremation grave will be $100. Everyone must pay the digging fee.
*Active Member is one who has communed once in the current or preceding calendar year and has contributed at least 20% of the allocated budgetary amount in the current or preceding calendar year.

Funeral Meals
Meals which are prepared and served by Himmel's Women of the ELCA:
Member - A bill will be provided for the actual cost of the food required to serve the number of meals requested, along with the cost of paper supplies utilized. Donations for preparation and serving are appreciated.
Non-member / Inactive Member - A bill will be provided for the actual cost of the food required to serve the number of meals requested, along with the cost of paper supplies utilized, plus $2 per person with a minimum of $50.
Social Hall use, to be paid to HImmel's Church, is $75 if the women are preparing a meal, unless the member is active.
Cemetery Regulations
Planting of trees, shrubs, and bushes is prohibited.
All flowers (cut, potted, or planted) are to be placed on the grave-side of the headstone in an area no wider than the headstone and no longer than 18 inches.
The only other decorations allowed will be a cross or American flag, no higher than 2 feet, and must be placed within 18 inches of rear of headstone.
The Cemetery Association reserves the right to remove prohibited objects.
Christmas items must be taken off before Easter.
Easter items must be taken off by Memorial Day.
Summer items must be taken off by Thanksgiving.
The Cemetery Association reserves the right to remove any item that is deteriorated.
