So you've been appointed as a Coach (or Assistant), and need some guidance and/or assistance on what to coach, or perhaps how to coach? Kids Pathway Skills Manual for U6 to U12 - Junior Rugby participation should be an enjoyable and rewarding experience for all those involved in the game. The Kids Pathway Skills Manual provides coaches with the fundamentals for coaching the modified games of the Rugby Australia Player Pathway for U6 to U12 kids. This manual has been designed to assist you in creating an atmosphere at Rugby training that is ENJOYABLE, requires kids to be ACTIVE most of the time, and is a genuine LEARNING experience. We call this REAL RUGBY, and if you can put it into practice, your players will develop their love for the game in a positive team environment that all can participate in.
Rugby for the Club's U13 to U18 players should be enjoyable and rewarding for all involved in the game. The Foundation Course Manual provides coaches of U13 - U18 players with the essential ingredients to develop these players, ensuring it is both enjoyable and rewarding.
The Foundation Course, as a precursor to the Level 1 Coach Certification, is the entry level for those coaching Junior rugby at the Club. It provides the necessary information on the technical, tactical and coaching/ refereeing at a foundation level. The Foundation Course is a training program to support the assessment requirements of the both Level 1 Coach and Referee accreditation.

In April 2020, the Positive Rugby Foundation launched the Classic Coaches Online Masterclass Series, with expert Coaches from different backgrounds lending their advice and expertise to coaches of all backgrounds. This online version will tap into the wealth of knowledge that exists within NSW Rugby Coaches network and will provide grassroots community coaches with the opportunity to learn from experts.
