In 2018, the Club has a 'U6 Play for Free' offer for all kids turning anywhere from 4-6 years of age in 2018.  Just contact our Registrar, Samantha for more details.  This effectively means that you can use your Active Kids Rebate Voucher for another sport later in the year if you don't want to use it for Rugby.

The Active Kids Rebate Voucher can also be used for all online registrations after 2 February, so you can receive a $100 rebate on the above fees if you use the voucher.

Registrations will be done via the Rugby Australia Rugby Link online system for 2018.

Home Ground

Yattenden Park, John Street, Baulkham Hills is our home ground. The club works hard to upgrade and keep the facilities looking good so please help us to take care of our facilities. Parking on training and game day is best at the Torrs St entrance which runs off Windsor Rd. Details/map are shown on the Club page.

Training

All training is held at Yattenden Park.

Once registrations are finalised all players should be contacted by either the coach/manager of their team informing them of when training starts.

In the case of our Minis (Under 6s – Under 9s) training is held on a Friday night which allows for a better retention of the skills they have learnt for the game and also means they are not out on a school night.

Our Junior teams train on Thursday evenings across 2 timeslots with U10-U12 from 5.30-7pm, and U13-U16 from 6.30-8pm.

The Game

Rugby is introduced to our kids through modified versions of the game. The concept is to build confident kids by making the game more appropriate for their age.
  • Walla Rugby - Under 6's & 7's (two handed touch/tag rugby  -  NO tackle)
  • Mini Rugby - Under 8's & 9's (introductory contact rugby)
  • Midi Rugby - Under 10's & 11's (evolving contact rugby)
  • Junior Rugby - Under 12's to 16's (modified rugby laws)
  • Senior Rugby - Colts & Four Open Grades (played in accordance with international laws)

The Club is affiliated with the Two Blues Junior Rugby Union, along with other village clubs from Blacktown, Dundas Valley, Hawkesbury, Liverpool and Norwest.
