What's here?
Here you will find my collection of guitars, and my experience in modifying and improving them. Also lately I've started building them myself, using second hand and new parts. And I've found out that building is great fun, and can lead to great results. I just feels great to play a guitar that you've built or modified yourself.
Who am I?
My name is Herman Hup. I was born in 1962, and I live in The Netherlands.I first picked up a guitar at the age of 14, as also some of my friends did.We spend lots of time finding out how to play things (remember we had no internet back then!) and soon we started playing in schoolbands.Our guitars were secondhand, or third hand Eko's and similar guitars, and we used everything that could amplify our instruments. Those were the days :-)Nowadays I still play guitar in several band settings. I now own about 14 guitars and a few amps.
