Credits, Licenses and Contact

This website and the didactic sequence have been built and designed by Jordi Domènech Casal, Science teacher at secondary school in Spain, using Inquiry-Based-Science Education (IBSE) didactic approaches and following the standard structure proposed by Bernie Dodge for WebQuests.

This activity is part of the C3 Project for the Education on the Creation of the Scientific Knowledge and has been indexed at the Aplicació de Recursos al Currículum platform from the catalan education department and has been included as part of the ProyectandoBioGeo science learning activities itinerary.

This activity has been developed from an original idea of Isabel Besson Masplà "Pots enrotllar la llengua?" and further adapted to the standards of ECBI standards. Media files included are authored by biology teachers Jennifer DesRochers and Andrew Douch. An adaptation of Heredity Id to Catalan has been developed and published by Manel Collado Vergara.

I dedicate this activity to the memory of Carme Barba, a teacher and teacher trainer, founder and member of the Comunitat Catalana de WebQuest, who promoted the educational use of WebQuests with passion for the teaching profession.
