3/20/2024: We received a 5-year $1.02 million grant from AHRQ for our project titled LabGenie: A Patient-Engagement Tool to Aid Older Adults' Understanding of Lab Test Results (R21HS029969)! I'm thankful for all the support from my collaborators, trainees, and colleagues for this incredible award!

3/6/2024: Our paper evaluating the large language model in answering lab test questions from patients has been accepted by the Journal of Medical Internet Research!

12/23/2019: I received FSU President's letter to approve my early promotion to Associate Professor with tenure! This is a huge milestone for me! I would like to thank my family especially my incredible wife Yue Li, and my parents for their wholehearted support! This is a testimony to my hard work in the past 12 years since I came to this land of dreams in 2007. I owe a deep debt of gratitude to my advisors, mentors, students, colleagues, and friends!
