22/2/23: Please note the content below is being reviewed and may be out of date.
Here are some teaching and revision resources to help with teaching and understanding medical statistics. The StatsPosterLeaflet.ppts will print doublesided on A3 whilst the MedicalStatistics.jpg has sufficient resolution to print out at up to A0, although A2 or A1 will be sufficient.
For fast and inexpensive poster printing, AMC Photographics have been very reliable, usually delivery within 2-3 days. Staples can print posters while you wait, but a little more expensive. Your Trust's medical photography service might have printing services too, of course, and local print shops may be the simplest option.
Teaching Statistics:
Key Concepts to Teach
An e-mail sent to EVIDENCE-BASED-HEALTH@JISCMAIL.AC.UK from Robert J Weyant:
"A while back I requested information from list members on what would constitute a good "minimum" set of statistical concepts for an EBHC course. Many people responded and I wish to thank them for their helpful replies. Below is a summary (quickly assembled) of these replies. Perhaps others will find it useful
Best Wishes,
Bob
