Other Services
Micro and Nano Needling
Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure using thin needles. The procedure treats minor skin problems such as acne scars, stretch marks or wrinkles.Nano-needling only punctures the first layer of the skin creating nano-channels, while microneedling penetrates into the deep dermis. If your skin care concerns include deep lines, hyperpigmentation, stretch marks or deep acne scars, then microneedling is recommended for you.
Facial Rejuvenation
Hair-thin needles are gently inserted into specific points on the face. This in turn nourishes, re-hydrates, tones and reduces the appearance of facial wrinkles. Each Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture treatment lasts about 60 minutes with 15 minutes of insertion time, 30 minutes of relaxation and 15 min of facial massage. This is a series of 10 treatments (twice a week for five weeks),
Food Therapy
Food therapy is a practice of healing through the use of natural foods instead of, or in addition to medications.
Herbal Consult
A one-on-one herbal consult is designed for those who choose solely to work with herbs.
Cupping
Cupping is the process of quickly heating glass cups and placing them directly on the skin, creating a suction. Cupping is useful to release the deep muscles which can become knotted and painful.
Auricular Acupuncture
Needling the outer ear has been shown to stimulate the release of endorphins (the body's own feel-good chemicals). Auricular therapy is used for many conditions, including addiction treatment, mood disorders, obesity, pain, and other conditions.
Electroacupuncture
A form of acupuncture where a small electric current is passed between pairs of acupuncture needles. Electroacupuncture is considered to be especially useful for conditions, such as in chronic pain syndromes, and joint pain.
Vibro Acoustic Therapy
The Vibro Acoustic Sound Healing Table transmits music into the body through a unique custom sound system built into the massage table, combined with a complete surround sound system within the room. Vibroacoustic therapy is the use of low frequency vibrations to stimulate body cells into therapeutic states of relaxation and healing. Applied vibration is effective because sound waves travel extremely well through water. The body is 70-80% water, making it an excellent conductor and resonator of sound. Vibratory tones travel through the body to help remove blockages, alleviate stasis and pain, and increase the flow of vital energy.*This can be a stand alone treatment or can be added to any acupuncture treatment for an additional $15 fee.
Sonopuncture
Sound is used to activate an acupuncture point in a similar, but more subtle way than with needles. Sonopuncture is very effective in treating bruises, ligament tears and any type of inflammation. It improves the circulation and by massaging the area speeds up the healing process. The ultrasound stimulation is applied to the specific acupuncture points for a minute or less. Ultrasound waves can penetrate deep into the body’s tissues to generate healing.*This can be added to any acupuncture treatment for an additional $15 fee.
TuiNa/Massage
A form of Chinese manipulative therapy often used in conjunction with acupuncture, moxibustion, fire cupping, Chinese herbalism, t'ai chi, and qigong.Tui na is a hands-on body treatment that uses Chinese taoist and martial arts principles in an effort to bring the eight principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine into balance. The practitioner can then use range of motion, traction, with the stimulation of acupressure points. These techniques are claimed to aid in the treatment of both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, as well as many non-musculoskeletal conditions.
