Press [2nd];
Press [MEM]; // The same key as [+]
Choose 7: Reset...
Press [→] twice to the ALL tab;
Choose 1: All Memory...
Choose 2: Reset;
Your screen will show the message "Resetting All..." Wait for a few seconds;
Your screen will show the message "Mem cleared" when it is done. Show this message to the proctor;
*If you use degree mode, you must change the mode to degree mode after clearing memory.
Summary: [2nd] -> [MEM] -> [7] -> [→] -> [→] -> [1] -> [2] *Change to degree mode when necessary
Press [MODE];
Press [ ↓ ] twice to the third lines;
Press [→] to move cursor to "Degree";
Press [ENTER] to make sure Degree is highlight and selected;
Press [2nd] and then [QUIT] (same key as [Mode]) to exit to the main window.
Enter a decimal number (you can also use the previously calculated answer by pressing the [2nd] + [ANS]);
Press [MATH];
Choose 1: ►Frac;
Press [ENTER] again.
Press [Y=];
Enter equations (they must be in slope-intercept form);
Press [ZOOM];
Choose an appropriate zoom mode. (usually I use 6:Standard or 0:ZoomFit);
Press [2nd];
Press [CALC]; // The same key as [TRACE]
Choose 5:intersect;
Select the first curve (it should have already been selected by the program), then press [ENTER];
Select the second curve (it should have already been selected by the program), then press [ENTER];
Press left arrow or right arrow to move the cursor near the intersection you want to calculate, then press [ENTER].
* to take the cube root of a number is the same as raising the number to the one-third (1/3) power.
Example: If you want to find the cube root of the number 5.
Enter: 5^(1/3)
