Halloween 2019
We've been at Harbor Point since 2003 and this is the first year we have ever had trick-or-treaters! Just prior to Halloween, our dear neighbors asked if we would provide trick-or-treat goodies to the parents and kids.
Washington Nationals 2019
Congrats to the Nationals who gave D.C. it's first World Series title in 95 years!
Despite a poor 19-31 start they qualified for the playoffs in the final week of regularly scheduled play. Despite trailing in the eighth inning of the wildcard game, they scored a win over the Milwaukee Brewers. They next won the National League Division Series by beating the Los Angeles Dodgers despite a 1-2 start. They qualified for the World Series by beating the St. Louis Cardinals in 4 games. It took the Nationals 7 games to win the World Series over the heavily-favored Houston Astros. To no fan's surprise, the Nats were able to score lead runs late in many of the post-season games. Interestingly, in the 2019 World Series, neither "home" team won any home game.

Favorite Music
The YouTube music videos below contain favorite songs performed by a favorite artist. If you knew my age, you would understand why these videos represent some of my favorite artists. Fortunately, I was able to attend concerts from both the Doobie Brothers and Peter Framton which were held at Wolftrap just a few miles down the Dulles Toll road from Reston, Virginia. I've also seen live concerts from Cat Stevens, James Taylor, and Elton John.. Christopher Cross, in the list below, who you may not know or remember, appeared at the Grammy Awards held on February 25, 1981 in New York City. At the awards, he was the first artist in Grammy history to win all four General Field awards in a single ceremony, bringing home Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist. He also wrote and performed the title song from the Dudley Moore hit comedy film Arthur and the Grammy Song of the Year 1980 (Sailing). Both of these songs are contained in the video list below. Unfortunately, Christopher Cross was infected with the coronavirus during the early 2020 pandemic.
