At the 8/7/17 Meeting, the board approved a bounty on specific trash fish. The purpose of this is to encourage removal of undesirable fish and increase awareness about the subject. It will also help to track the size of the fish and provide other information that may be helpful in controlling/eliminating the undesirable species. The details are as follows:
1. $5 per fish for Silver, Bighead, or Bighead/Silver Carp Hybrid. $1 per fish for all Gar.
2. Can be caught by any means (except for already dead fish washed up on my shore or similar. Jumped on my boat and removed it from lake is totally acceptable).
3. The fish must come from HL3. Preferred method of proof is a picture of the area where fish were caught.
4. Must submit a photo of the whole lot of fish from each outing and must provide the following information: Date/approximate time caught, method used, length of each fish.
5. Participant is responsible for disposing of fish and no bounty will be paid for fish returned to the lake.
