Hello, I'm Gwydion (civil name Christian Grond). I was born in 1968 and I live in the green and pleasant town of Melle near Osnabrück, county Lower-Saxony, Germany.
In the 1990's I studied biology at the University of Bielefeld (Germany) and I hold an advanced academic degree in biology. In order to be able to pay my bills, I work as a teacher in different private institutions of education.
As i have never attended artistic studies, I have mainly drawn my inspiration from domains outside the fine arts, like science, biology, psychology, rock music or Celtic mythology.
Besides, it is said (by press for example) that Gwydion admires the artistry of Kandinski, Klimt and Miro... well, I really love these guys, but I paint my own style!
