Water Supply for Greenwood

Intimation for payment of water charges:-

Dear members,

All flat owners were charged 30000/- by the builder for water and electricity connection. But that was for internal connection and he has provided RO water as promised. He has not collected money for Manjeera (municipality) water connection.

The owners association having taken over from the builder has pursued the municipality water connection with Hyderabad metropolitan water supply and sewerage board and after long delays the connection was sanctioned.

We’ve been asked to pay around ₹90,00,000/- as you have seen in the sanction letter above. To join the municipality water connection with existing water system, we need to do some plumbing work, hence 30000/- per flat was decided by the GBM.

The society has already paid the amount to Hyderabad metropolitan water supply and sewerage board

The GBM has also decided to levy penalties @18% per annum for nonpayment of water connection charges.
