The Codes folder and/or gvar.m file were last updated for bugs and/or changes on the 24th March 2018.
Bugs amended on the 12th of July 2016 will affect the bootstrap impulse responses of: (i) a GVAR model that includes a dominant unit with feedback effects; (ii) a GVAR model that includes foreign variables constructed using more that one type of weights (for example trade weights and financial weights), obtained with any previous version of the 2014 release.
Bugs amended on the 13th of May 2015 will affect the conditional forecasts obtained with any previous version of the 2014 release.
User guide last updated 10th of August 2017 with two additions in the section about building a GVAR model from scratch related to flows and weight matrices when non-reporting countries are included. Main changes of update on 2nd of October 2014 were to Table 3.2 and related notes, and Chapters 7 and 8.
On the 24th of March 2018 minor changes where made to the gvar.m file associated with the calling of the Trend Decomposition procedure and to the related file TCdecomp.m in the Codes folder.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Interface files are not compatible across the different versions of the GVAR Toolbox and should only be used with the corresponding version.

The GVAR Toolbox is based on the Gauss code GVAR for Gauss (Dec 2010) (zip, 926KB). This is an updated version of the original Gauss code, to replicate the results in Dees, di Mauro, Pesaran and Smith (2007).
