GVAR Handbook
The GVAR Handbook:
Structure and Applications of a Macro Model
of the Global Economy for Policy Analysis
Edited by Filippo di Mauro and M. Hashem Pesaran
Oxford University Press (2013)
The GVAR Handbook is a collection of contributed chapters that:
analyses how the original GVAR model has evolved over the years
reports on the applications and extensions made by several contributors
shows how powerful the model can be as a tool for policy analysis.
In terms of content the Handbook puts together – for the first time – an extensive literature on the subject. See here for the Chapter Index.
In terms of audience the Handbook aims at a broad readership of researches including policy-makers and other economic practitioners, with the purpose of familiarising them with an additional tool of analysis of the global economy. All chapters are accessible to non-specialists.
