Specialized Seattle Tours

Specialized Seattle Tours

There are so many different facets to Seattle and together they make it a great city. Lucky for us, there are many different tours to show off all of Seattle's great attributes. After getting a general tour of Seattle, delve a little deeper into certain aspects by taking a tour of one of the stadiums - Safeco Field or Qwest field. If sports aren't your thing, then swing by the Theo Chocolate Factory in Fremont for a delicious tour or head to the Seattle Museum of Mysteries in Capitol Hill for a ghost tour!

Safeco Field Tour

Safeco Field - home to the Seattle Mariners baseball team. I have been on the tour a of couple times and I think it's one of the best baseball stadium tours out there. You are able to see many things not normally open to the public like the press box, owner's suite, visitor's clubhouse, and even out on the field and in the dugouts - just make sure not to stray beyond the warning track. Make sure to bring your camera for getting pictures in front of the Mariner's backdrop - the same backdrop seen during team interviews.

Theo Chocolate Factory Tour

I couldn't believe that this wonderful little chocolate factory was hidden in the Fremont neighborhood. Theo Chocolate is an organic, fair-trade company. The tour starts with a lesson on how chocolate is made while some samples are passed around, and then it's onto the factory to learn about all of the machines and steps in the chocolate making process - with more samples! The chocolate is delicious and this tour is one of my new favorites - it might just have something to do with my love for chocolate.
