Flag Placement is held Annually on the Saturday before Memorial Day.
Locally you can participate at the Los Angeles National Cemetery on Wilshire and Sepulveda.
West Los Angeles, 950 S Sepulveda Blvd.
- Parking is located across the street at the Veterans Administration Facility but is limited. Follow Street Parking Signs to avoid tickets.
- Opening Ceremonies begin at 8 am. Check-in is from 7 to 8 Pre-registration expedites your time in line.
- All Adults and Scouts should be in full uniform. Parents, family and friends must be dressed respectfully.
- Leaders are expected to discuss proper behavior while at this event. This is a somber, respectful way to pay tribute to those that have given their lives for our freedom.
- No persons should run, or make unnecessary noise while in the cemetery.

- Additionally, Scouts are welcome to Flag Removal following Memorial Day. If you are interested, ask at the check in table.
