Congratulations Leaders, your hard work is paying off!
Leaders are only recognized by our Council if someone nominates them and they are approved for an Award at the yearly Volunteer Recognition Ceremonies. You can show your appreciation for any of your Leaders or Volunteers who have done something special for your daughter by nominating them for an award.

Many nominations require Letters of Endorsement. There are samples and instructions in the handbook. Please contact our Awards Chair if you need assistance. Letters from Girls are encouraged and welcomed.
Awarded to Volunteers other than Leaders and Co-Leaders who have demonstrated Outstanding Service.
Previously Awarded to:
Awarded to Leaders and Co-Leaders who have completed their first year and committed to a second year of service.
Previously Awarded to:
Girl Scout Community Image Award
Awarded to Any Registered Adult Volunteer who promotes Girl Scouting in an organization or community out side of Girl Scouts.
Previously Awarded to:
Awarded to Leaders and Co-Leaders who deliver Outstanding Program and demonstrate Exemplary Troop Leadership.
Previously Awarded to:
Awarded to a family that shows Outstanding and Continuous Service benefiting one or more Service Units over a minimum of three years time. Must have at least two registered adults.
Previously Awarded to:
Community Service To Girl Scouts Certificate
Awarded to Organizations, Businesses, and Individuals outside of Girl Scouts who provide superior service, contribution, or assistance to a Troop or our Service Unit.

Worn to show combined number of years someone has been a member of Girl Scouts. Awarded in 5 year increments.
Years of Service to Girl Scouts
Worn to show total number of years an adult has volunteered their time to Girl Scouts. Awarded in 5 year increments.

2 Types of Awards
There are two types of Awards, Service Unit Level and Council Level Awards. Council Award nominations have passed for 2019. ALL NOMINATIONS DUE Via the eForm no later than 11:59PM PST. For help filling these out contact either the Awards and Recognitions Chair, the Service Unit Manager, or one of the other leaders in your troop. Do not wait until the last minute to start, it is a multi-layer process.
