Daisy Girl Scouts (age 5 to 7)

Daisies are the youngest Girl Scouts. Girls in Kindergarten and 1st Grade can be Daisies!

Brownie Girl Scouts (age 7 to 9)

Possibly the most recognized Girl Scouts, Brownies are in the 2nd and 3rd Grade and make up the largest level of Girl Scouts in the United States.

Junior Girl Scouts (age 9 to 11)

Junior Girl Scouts are in the 4th and 5th Grade, they explore activities at a deeper level and learn by doing. Juniors can work on leadership activities and earn their Bronze Award.

Cadette Girl Scouts (age 11 to 14)

Cadettes are middle school aged girls in the 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade. They explore skills in a more well rounded way. Activities for Cadettes include leadership with younger girls and in the community. Cadettes can earn the Silver Award, the second highest award in Girl Scouting.

Senior Girl Scouts (age 14 to 16) and Ambassador Girl Scouts (age 16 to 18)

Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts are in high school, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th Grades. They look at activities deeply and master subjects they explore. Seniors and Ambassadors work with younger girls in leadership positions that help them grow for strong futures. They can earn the highest award in Girl Scouts, the Gold Award.
