Officially called the Fort Johnson Marine Science Seminar Series, this program features weekly seminars held during the fall and spring semesters in the MRRI SCDNR Auditorium from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The series highlights a diverse range of speakers, including researchers from universities across the country and collaborators from the Hollings Marine Laboratory associated with NOAA, NIST, SCDNR, MUSC, and the College of Charleston. Light refreshments, including cookies and drinks, are available before each seminar—so be sure to arrive a little early to grab a snack!
