Join us at the South Carolina DNR Marine Resources and Research Institute (MRRI) for the annual GPMB Student Research Colloquium! The day of presentations and poster sessions will feature 2nd and 3rd year students in the GPMB! The day will be followed by a Low Country Boil at the DNR Outdoor Classroom. Want to socialize with the students, faculty, and scientists of the Fort Johnson community and build your professional network? Join us at the DNR Outdoor Classroom after every Fort Johnson Marine Science Seminar, held most Friday evenings through the academic year. You'll meet fantastic folks as well as special guest speakers from around the region!
Our Mission:
The MBGSA provides a foundation for graduate student communication and involvement within the Graduate Program in Marine Biology and ensures that students have a strong voice on the Fort Johnson campus. The MBGSA also strives to enrich the community through educational outreach and community service aimed at keeping our oceans and beaches clean.
