Face-Off
This tournament pits the #1 summer hit from the last 32 years against each other. Each year is represented by the summer pop chart that held the #1 slot on Billboard for the longest period of time. All 32 songs were placed in a random group generator to build the bracket.
The spreadsheet below contains links to youtube audio links of each song. Feel free to use this as a spring board to find more info. i.e., If you like one song, go listen to others by the same artist; Listen to a whole album by a particular artist/featured artist/writer/arranger; Seek out similar or contrasting music; etc.
Starting Monday, September 7th, you can vote on your favorites via the link above.
Voting will close every Friday evening, with the next round of the bracket being posted the following Monday.
For each "game", vote for your favorite piece between the two.
You don't have to be in the Grant Band to vote... Parents, family, siblings, etc. may participate as well!
