Ralph Erwin Student Musician Performance Scholarship

This scholarship was established in April 2013 to honor our longtime volunteer and friend Ralph Erwin. He has devoted countless hours to the music program in many, many ways. 

Grant Band Boosters dedicates funds each year that instrumental students may use to help them participate in competitions or honors ensembles, including but not limited to All State and All Northwest groups and accompanists for PIL/OSAA solo competitions.

How to apply:

• Students may request scholarship funds directly from the Band Director. He will determine need on a case‐by-case basis, considering the total pool of applicants as well.

• The Band Director will notify students of their awarded funds, and work with the Band Booster Treasurer and student to coordinate payment directly to the organization or professional providing the service.
