The Grant Wind Ensemble travels to Corvallis this Friday, January 8 to be the clinic band for Oregon State University's Wind Band Symposium. They return Saturday, Jan. 9 in the afternoon. Here's the tentative itinerary - transportation details are being confirmed with the bus company:

Friday, January 8

2:30 pm – Dismissed from class to load bus

3:00 pm – Depart for Corvallis, OR

5:30 pm – Arrive @ Benton Hall, OSU Campus

Rehearsal Clinic with Grant High School Wind Ensemble, Brian McFadden, conductor

Clinicians: Chris Chapman, Jason Gossett, Dana Biggs, Sarah McKoin

6-6:30 pm – Dusk by Steven Bryant; Keyara Fleece, guest conductor #1

6:30–7 pm – Fire by Gary Gilroy; Daniel Lee, guest conductor #2

7–7:30 pm – Dusk by Steven Bryant; guest conductor #3

7:30–8 pm – Fire by Gary Gilroy; Branden Hansen, guest conductor #4

8:15 pm – Pack up gear and depart for Hilton Garden Inn

9:30 pm – Walk to Memorial Union Basement – Bowling, pool tables, darts, shuffleboard

12 am – Depart for Hilton Garden Inn

Saturday, January 9

8-10 am – Breakfast @ Hotel

10 am – Campus Tour

12 pm – Lunch

1 pm – Depart for Portland, OR

3 pm – Arrive @ Grant

Amazing! The Grant Band program raised over $4,000 at the mattress sale and $1,400 from coffee sales in December. Thanks to students for their hard work and to parents and the community for your support!
