UPDATED BAND SCHEDULE FROM MR McFADDEN

Post date: Feb 9, 2016 1:10:30 AM

Hi Grant Band Families,

First of all, thank you so much for all of your support at the SSOJ concert last Friday! As I've said before, we could not do what we do without your support mentally, physically, and financially. Bravo to all!

Here is an updated schedule for the second half of the school year. We as the performing arts department try our best to estimate in the fall what the entire year's schedule will look like, but things always change especially with the musical dates being changed as well as our dance instructor expecting a baby in early May.

The biggest change is reverting back to last year's early spring concert, which is a joint concert of Symphonic Band, String Orchestra, Jazz Lab, Percussion Ensemble, and the men's and women's choirs on March 17th. The reason for this is that Ms. Murray (dance instructor) needed to bump up her end of year performance and the April 28th date was the only one available (it is an extremely busy time of year for all.)

All instrumental ensembles will perform at the Coda concert on the May 26th end of year concert.

The updated schedule is available at the link below - please update your calendar to match.  The calendar on the website has been fully updated.
