GRANT BAND WINTER CONCERT

Suggested donation: $5 (families $15) 

Please join us at the Grant Band Winter Concert featuring all music ensembles. Come support our students and listen to some great music.

Can you help with loading and unloading equipment for the concert?

If so, please email Mr. McFadden so he knows he has help. 

Baked Goods Sale

We are looking for volunteers to help sell baked goods and coffee at the concert. We would love to have help from parents representing all of our music groups. If you are interested, emailJennifer Snyder.  

We also need donations of baked goods to sell at the concert. Your student can drop them off in the band room on the day of the concert or you can bring them to Benson High School before the concert.  

PTA Table

We need 1 volunteer to help at the PTA table on the night of the concert. Contact MaryBeth Hernandez if you can help.

MATRRESS FUNDRAISER  

Help support the 3rd annual Grant Band Mattress Fundraiser from 10-5 on Saturday December 9, 2017 at the Beverly Cleary School. This is a great time to purchase a mattress because they are 50% off retail price! Please spread the word on Facebook or through emails to friends and family.

Students should sign up to volunteer for a shift in band class this week. 

 

PTA LIAISON NEEDED

Grant Band is looking for a parent to attend monthly Grant PTA meetings as a Grant Band representative. Please contact MaryBeth Hernandez if you are interested. 

 

SWEET SOUND OF JAZZ UPDATE

Bring Donations for SPEAKEASY:  SWEET SOUND of JAZZ  to Winter Concert on WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 6th:

It's that time again!  Have a family vacation home, Thorns tickets, a favorite restaurant or shop in town?  Would you like to donate wine or a home cooked meal?  Please consider donating/procuring items or sponsorships for Speakeasy: Sweet Sound of Jazz on February 3, 2018.  Bring items to the Winter Concert on December 6th, or contact Laura Sisulakor Jennifer Farmer (donations) and MaryBeth Hernandez (sponsorships) with your ideas and/or questions about businesses approached and secured.  Funds raised from this event help support core program needs including travel, guest instructors, music, equipment, scholarship assistance, and an educational music trip for the ensembles every other year.  Donations are tax deductible and receipts provided upon request.

PLANNING MEETING

If you'd like to help plan, come to our next meeting on Sunday December 10 at 7:00 PM at Lloyd Corporate Plaza (919 NE 19th Ave, Main floor conference room. Call Kelly at 215-380-6767 if you need help finding the room). We welcome anyone to attend the planning meetings even if you can’t sign up for a committee.  If you'd like to help and cannot attend the meeting, email Kelly McCollum.
