Colorado Riverfront Trail Maintenance Responsibilities

In other words, who fixes where.

Depending on where you are along the Colorado Riverfront Trail, there are four different agencies who could be responsible for maintenance or repair of that part of the trail. This makes it a bit confusing for those times when you come across a problem with the trail and want to let the correct people know about it. Hopefully, These maps allow users of the Colorado Riverfront Trail who encounter an issue with the trail to be able to easily figure out who to call and what phone number to call in order to request that the problem be addressed. Such maintenance issues might include (but not be limited to) problems such as vegetation growing over the trail, the trail surface being so broken that it could cause a wreck, trail flooding, and winter maintenance.

This map series is intended to be used by those who are already familiar with the trail and would like to help make the trail system better and safer for all trail users. There's no guarantee that the problem will get taken care of right away, but they will at least know about it.

If you're looking for maps to help you navigate along the trail system, you're far better off using the Colorado Riverfront Trail map series here.

Thank you for taking the time and effort to help make the Colorado Riverfront Trail safer and more enjoyable for all users!
