A word about copyrights: you know how back there I said that these maps are free and all that? Well, there's one thing you can't do and that is sell them or make money off any of these maps in any way without my permission. I made these for you and other cyclists like you to use and enjoy, they're intended to be free for everyone. I'm not making anything off of them and I don't think anyone else should be either (unless I get a cut, of course). If you're in any sort of money making operation and would like to use any of the maps then feel free to drop me a note a velocartograher@gmail.com and maybe we can work out a deal.
Obligatory liability stuff: Cycling can be a dangerous sport, we've all had our close calls and too many of us have had calls that were closer than close, so be careful when you ride and do pay more attention to the road than the map or your GPS. I've tried to point out the more egregious hazards, but roads do get covered in gravel and pot holes and other hazards do appear out of nowhere, so be careful but if anything does go wrong it ain't my fault. I try to make the maps as accurate as possible on a budget of zero dollars, and these maps have been looked over by lots of cyclists before you who haven't been shy about pointing out mistakes (part of the process!), but if you do find a goof drop me a note to let me know: velocartographer@gmail.com.
