Granby Pack 325 is open to boys and girls in grades K-5 and yes, we remain very active with socially-distanced activities during COVID!
If you are interested in learning more about Scouting or need information on how to join Granby Scouts, send us an email. We can't wait to tell you more about the Pack and all that we do.

Young girls and boys grow up fast. Give your children a valuable gift by encouraging them to join Cub Scouting today! The time you invest today in your children will make a difference in the persons they become tomorrow.
When is a good time to get started?
Like most Cub Scout Packs, we go year-round. You can become a scout at anytime (a new scout does not have to “go back” and work on ranks designed for earlier grade levels, even if missed due to their time of joining). Email the pack with any questions you have about joining Pack 325. Or feel free to join us at any event we have which you may have heard about on this site or on social media.
When do we meet?
Pack meetings (that is, when all of our scouts, 1st-5th grade, get together in the same place - with the Cubmaster) are held on the last Monday of each month from 7-8pm at the First Congregational Church located at 219 North Granby Rd in Granby, CT.
Den meetings (or, when just one age group meets - with just their Den Leader) are usually held twice a month and when there are specific outings.
What is the Cost of Joining?
First - don't let the cost scare you off. It's not that expensive compared with other youth activities, and our Pack is able to assist if you need help. The person to see about assistance is the Committee Chair, Cubmaster, or Treasurer. This will be kept between you and them but you can tend to that later.
Second - The total cost is $160 per year (Pro-rated if you join mid-year) which includes the annual BSA Membership fee, Pack Activity fee, neckerchief, and slide. A joining fee of $25 will be additional for new scouts joining starting in 2022.
Third - You will need to purchase a uniform shirt, hat, scout pants (optional), and the appropriate rank handbook. A new uniform shirt runs around $35.00, and the shirt is good for several years; the hat is about $18. Official scout pants can also be purchased ($30), however we are not strict and encourage wearing any navy colored pants or shorts to scout events.
Uniform
The Scouts of America has always been a uniformed body. Its uniforms help to create a sense of belonging. They symbolize character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness. Wearing a uniform gives youth and adult members a sense of identification and commitment.
"Class A" uniforms are the official uniform to be worn at all den and pack meetings. The "Class B" uniform is a pack specific, more casual T-Shirt and sweatshirt that can worn at outdoor activities and various other specified events. The purchase of these items are a separate expense, if desired.
