He/She has vomited within the last 12 hours.

He/She has symptoms such as reddened eyes, sore throat, abdominal pain or rash.

He/She has diarrhea.

Potty Training:

We do not potty train, we leave this up to you. However, if you are in the process of potty training your child and your child can let you know somehow by telling us or making a gesture that he/she has to go to the potty we will be more than happy to work with your child. If your child cannot do these things, then we ask that your child be left in a diaper until they can. When starting to wear pull ups, please bring the ones that pull apart at the sides.

Bottle and/or Pacifier Breaking:

We do not bottle or pacifier break your child. If your child is attached to these items we will allow your child to have them. If you decide that you would like to break them from these things please do so on your time. We want your child to be happy and content while in our care. Especially if your child is new, we would like for them to adjust to us first before they have to adjust to being without their bottle or pacifier.

Upon enrollment, your child is given a cubby with his/her name on it. We ask that you check your child’s cubby every evening. There are times when your child’s teacher writes a note for you and it is placed in their cubby. Also most communications from the daycare will be placed in the cubby, so it is very important that you check it daily.

If your child requires medication while in our care, you must complete a medication form. Medication must be in the original container with written directions included from the parent.

Our policy on writing bad checks: After you have written two bad checks, you will have to pay with a money order or cash. You will also be assessed a NSF to your balance on each bad check. A copy of the notice from the bank will be provided.

If your child is in diapers or pull ups, please make sure that you keep diapers on hand at the daycare. We will usually let you know if your child is getting low. Sometimes we stick a note in your child’s cubby, this is another reason to check your cubby daily. Also, please bring in wipes every two weeks, or once a month if you bring in large boxes of wipes.

If your child is sick or seriously injured we will notify you by phone. Any minor injuries such as rug burns, scratches or bruises will be reported on an “Ouch Report” and will be placed in your child’s cubby.

If an employee has a serious injury, sickness or death, you will be notified by letter.

We do not accept anything less than three days commitment enrollment, which is considered part time. The full time is five days. We allow two weeks a year for vacations that you do not have to pay for if we are given at least a week’s notice.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
