RIGHT NOW WE'RE ONLY HOSTING OUR SATURDAY EMPOWERMENT WORKSHOPS.
The director(s) purpose and goals for Goddaughter’s workshops and retreats stems from an urgency to compliment and support parent's/guardian's/teacher's/pastor's/ community leader's efforts to educate and raise our children. The workshops provide tools and art-enhancing activities that can empower youth in many areas with application.
Growing up in dysfunctional environments without spiritual and family values, and/or positive community intervention/involvement can negatively affect one's childhood and adolescent/adult development; career/job/social relations; marital relationships and nurturing of children. However, together, we can also combat this issue as well as poor representations of various family structures on Television, Media and around us. More on why we address Self-esteem and Confidence at bottom...
