* Shirley Leitner - Bowling!

Shirley Leitner enjoyed rolling this ball down alleys and knocking down the pins! She was on a team with her husband when she bowled 238! Just short of a perfect game!

What this reminds me of is how, once we come to our Lord Jesus and believe in Him as Lord and Savior, He gives us the Holy Spirit as a Counselor and Fruit producer to knock down all our sinful habits and eventually by His grace become perfected - a perfect game! See Philippians 1:6 - "For I am sure that He who started this good work in you will carry it through until it is finished on the day of Christ Jesus." Our Lord Jesus scored 300 for us by His perfect life He lived for us and for which He gives us credit and now by the work of the Holy Spirit reproduces in us His love, joy, patience, peace, kindness, faithfulness, goodness and self-control. Galatians 5:22-23.
