Junior Church / Sunday School

(Some of the Sunday School)
We have a family service (all age worship) and one Sunday school session each month, see the services page for details of which weeks this months sessions will be.

We start our session at 10.45 with the congregation in church and usually leave after the second hymn and start our time in sunday school.
We start with all the children together (aged 3 to 16 years) and then split into our groups.

We always make gifts for Mothers Day and Fathers Day for members of the congregation. Here are the ones we made for Fathers Day, each of the men in church were given one as a gift.

We've been very busy with rehearsals for this years nativity.
Check out the photos (from the dress rehearsal)

In 2014 the younger members of the group started the years Sunday school by helping Wesley tell Molly about the story of Jesus' birth
Our nativity was very successful, see the photos here.
Before we started the rehearsals for our nativity we wrote a story about Wesley the Glebe Guardian
Last term we were looking at The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe from the Chronicles of Narnia by CS Lewis. The story helped us explore the bible in a fun way.
We've made a map of Narnia and Aslan to go on the wall.
Below are some more pictures of the sunday school, we'd just finished playing a game!
Below are some more photos of the children doing some work!
