Then we started to clean it out and clean it up. Slowly turning it into our Sharing Closet and Resident meeting area.

We have had Bingo events, birthday parties, flower arranging classes and a wine tasting

We have had a couple of clean ups, these are from the Village wide clean up from earlier this Spring. We rented a dumpster and had residents set their items to be disposed of at the curb and volunteers went around collecting the debris and bringing to the dumpsters.  A Red Circle was one of our partners for this event. We even had a local Chef prepare food for the volunteers!!

We have two importand upcoming events:
October 3, 2024 We are partnering with area agencies to hold an Employment and Reource fair.
The first part of the event (1-2:30pm) is for Riverview High School students only.
The second part of the event (3:30-6:00pm) is open to the community. See flyer below for details.
UPDATE: The employment and resource fair was a HUGE success! Over 100  students were able to meet and greet many area employers, colleges and trade opportunities! The  evening session allowed the community to apply for jobs, meet with employers and get valuable resources!
October 4, 2024 we are having our National Night Out event from 5pm-9pm. Come out and enjoy hot dogs and hamburgers (while they last), get to know your neighbors and the community center. See flyer for more details
UPDATE: Our National Night Out was fun for the police and the community! Can't wait to plan next years! Bigger and better!
