Holiday Greetings To All Brothers,
As we celebrate this Holiday season with all of the joy and laughter of time spent with family and friends, I invite you to come out as we endeavor to spread this good cheer and happiness back into our community. Since 2005, we have partnered with Greenville Rescue Mission during the Holiday season to help prepare and serve the evening meal for their residents. The date/time is this coming Saturday December 11, 2010 at 4:00 PM. The location is downtown Greenville (across from the main Post Office). The address is 575 West Washington Street. I'm seeking 6-8 Brothers who'd like to come out and volunteer as we'll be working on the food service line as well as cleaning up after the evening meal is served from 4:00 - 5:30 pm.
I'm sure those of you who have volunteered over the last four years
will attest that this is a wonderful experience. The Rescue Mission
employees, administrators, and residents have all been extremely
cordial to us during our times there.
(Note: We would like everyone who volunteers to wear your colors!)
If you are interested, please let us know. Call with any further questions, Brother Furman Jackson at 864.640.9416 or Brother Will Whitley (864) 567-7397.
Fraternally,
Furman & Will
