GGL Chapter 80th Charter Day Announced for 8/28

Join us for a night of Brotherly fellowship to celebrate the 80th Year chartering of Gamma Gamma Lambda Chapter, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. This event is for brothers-only and will cost $80.00 per brother. Active and Inactive are welcome to attend. The deadline to RSVP is August 25, 2021, by 4:00 PM. 

The Gamma Gamma Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. is sponsoring a Chartering Day (in-person) Dinner for August 28, 2021, starting 6:06 PM at the Greenville Hilton in Greenville, South Carolina. Alpha Attire is requested.

Our Keynote Speaker for the event will be Brother Herman “Skip” Mason, Former General President of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. 

The meal will consist of an Alpha Toast at 7:06 PM, will include Southern Style Green Beans with caramelized sweet onion and smokey bacon and asiago whipped Yukon gold potatoes. We will have an entree choice of either (1) Herb marinated chicken breast, (2) Grilled salmon, or (3) the NY Strip. 

There will be an optional vegetarian meal available by request for salad selection of either classic garden salad or classic Caesar salad. For dessert, people will have a choice of either cheesecake or traditional pecan pie.

We are looking into a possible option for a hotel stay on Saturday night, and there will be a social event on Friday before the dinner.
