Arrangements have been finalized for Brother Arthur Pinckney's mother, Mrs. Ruth M. Pinckney. The Wake will take place on Thursday, March 11, at 6 p.m., at Central RMUE Church located at 117 President Street, Charleston, South Carolina. The Funeral Service will take place at Morris Brown AME Church located at 13 Morris Street, Charleston, South Carolina, on Friday, March 12, at Noon. There will be reserved seating for members of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.on Friday. Please ask the ushers for the location of the reserved seating upon arrival at the church.

Mrs. Pinckney is the widow of Mr. Arthur E. Pinckney, the devoted mother of Mr. Arthur L. Pinckney, Mr. Antonio K. Pinckney, Ms. Lucy E. Pinckney, Mrs. Denise P. Wilson (Darrin), Ms. Evelyn L. Pinckney and Mr. Akil E. Pinckney, the grandmother of Deja and Daria Wilson, the sister of Mrs. Evelena M. Simmons, Mrs. Louise Brown (Lawrence) and Ms. Anna Mack, the sister-in-law of Mr. William Pinckney (Theora), Mr. Johnny Pinckney (Mary) and Mr. Clarence Pinckney (Thomasann).
