Brothers,
I apologize about the lateness of this email. We have been working to finalize details. PLEASE FORWARD THIS INFORMATION OUT TO YOUR CHAPTERS ASAP.
Tomorrow (Friday Feb. 17) is our first week of IMDP. You are reminded that the first two weekend will be in Aiken and the last two weekends will be in Rock Hill. Attached is some detailed information about the schedule.
Location: USC – Aiken Penland Administration Building Room 106
Schedule: Begin on Friday @ 5:30 pm and Saturday at 7:30 am. Please see attached schedule.
IMDP Certified: Brothers must be IMDP Certified to participate, please make sure you have done so.
Risk Management: All brothers must be risk management certified to participate. We will conduct a risk management training session on Friday at 7:00 pm
Fee: All Chapters must submit the Cluster Assessment of $75.00 per chapter on FRIDAY NIGHT. Chapters that do not have fee paid on Friday will not be able to participate in the cluster weekend. Checks should be made payable to upstate midlands intake cluster.
Hotel Rooms: Brothers, in the attached document are some recommendations for hotel rooms.
Attendance: The Chapter Dean, President (or designee) need to be with the aspirants the entire weekend, and Maximum chapter participation is expected during all rituals and service projects.
Dress Code: Brothers are reminded that Coat and Tie must be worn for Friday Night and Saturday and Alpha Attire must be worn for admission into ceremonies on Saturday Night. Brothers cannot be admitted unless they are properly dressed.
Attendance: Chapter Intake Teams (Dean, President, Historian,) should plan to be with the aspirants the entire process (both weekends) and be available to assist with intake cluster duties that Sponsors are reminded that you should plan to be with your aspirant as much as possible. You MUST be with the aspirants for the ceremony on Saturday Night.
Tone: Brothers are reminded that the tone of the cluster weekend should be both serious and also should be challenging for the aspirants. We want them to respect what we are doing in the Cluster. Brothers should always be engaged in the process! Cell phones must be on vibrate the entire time. We want this experience to be memorable!
