GGL Brothers Patrick Johnson (NPHC Financial Secretary) and Bobby Clark (NPHC's Webmaster, GGL Chapter Rep) where on a part of the organizing committee. This was a very family orientated event and promoted fellowship between the upstate Greek Community. The event is held annually on the third Saturday in August at one of the local state parks.
Paris Mountain State Park, South Carolina - More than 80 Upstate South Carolina Greek members and their families attended the Annual NPHC Greek Cookout on August 18, 2014 from 4 PM to 8 PM. Greek Cookout was attended by Upstate Greek organizations from the Divine Nine Greek Fraternities and Sororities and has been from more than twenty years. The Annual event included access to the entire park from 8 AM to 8 PM from hike trails, swimming areas and playground. Cookout started at Shelter #3 at 4 PM and served hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, and roasted vegetables.
