Bro. Harris to Speak at RDL MLK Celebration

Anderson, South Carolina - Greetings in the name of Rho Delta Lambda (ΡΔΛ) Chapter, Anderson, SC. I am writing to invite you to join us on January 14, 2012, for our upcoming MLK Memorial Celebration to benefit the C.T. Battle Scholarship Fund. The program will feature Dr. Robert L. Harris, National Historian and Cornell University professor of History and Africana Studies. Also, the program includes: presentation of the 2011 C. T. Battle Scholars, recognition of the Reverend Rufus Mitchell, 2012 MLK Drum Major Award recipient, and music by the Clemson University a cappella group TakeNote.

This program is designed to celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and to benefit the C. T. Battle Scholarship Fund. A flier and forms on which you may indicate your level of support are enclosed. Please feel free to share with local chapters, area churches and community organizations as we are seeking local support, and would like to have a good turnout of adults and youth, from across the Upstate and beyond.
