Es investigadora adjunta del CONICET. Sus intereses de investigación incluyen el estudio del comportamiento de los insectos nativos del bosque Andino- Patagónico y la interacción entre estos insectos y sus plantas hospedadoras. Actualmente, su línea de investigación se centra en el estudio de la capacidad de resistencia y tolerancia de Nothofagus alpina (Raulí) y Nothofagus obliqua (Roble pellín) frente a la herbivoría causada por insectos nativos bajo la influencia de diversos factores de estrés climático; con la finalidad de identificar genotipos resistentes que puedan ser utilizados para la domesticación y producción forestal..
She is researcher at CONICET. Her research interests include the study of the behavior of native insects that inhabit the Andean-Patagonian forest and the interaction between these insects and their host plants. Currently, her line of research focuses on the study of the resistance and tolerance capacity of Nothofagus alpina (Raulí) and Nothofagus obliqua (Roble pellín) against the herbivory caused by native insects under the influence of various climatic stress factors; with the purpose of identifying resistant genotypes that can be used for domestication and forest production.
