Pablo Stefanoni

Licenciado y Doctor en Ciencias Biológicas (Universidad de Buenos Aires)

Biologist and Doctor in Biological Sciences (University of Buenos Aires)

He was a postdoctoral fellow at FONCYT. His research is focused on studying the eco-physiological parameters of the ambrosia beetle, Megaplatypus mutatus, an important pest of poplar and eucalyptus plantations, among others. The specific objectives of his fellowship ware to determine the thermal tolerance in adults during the dispersal stage and to estimate the maximum potential flight capacity in adults, with the ultimate goal of predicting the potential distribution of the species under climate change scenarios.
