Realizó un postdoctorado con beca del CONICET. Su trabajo se focalizpo en analizar los patrones y mecanismos ecológicos involucrados en las nuevas asociaciones insectos-árbol que surgen en plantaciones forestales con especies exóticas. El fin último fue identificar los riesgos de ocurrencias de nuevas plagas que permitan proponer mejoras a las prácticas de bioseguridad en los sistemas forestales de Argentina.

He was a postdoctoral fellow at CONICET. His research focused on analyzing the ecological patterns and mechanisms involved in the new insect-tree associations that arise in forest plantations with exotic species. The ultimate goal was to identify risks of occurrence of new pests and to improve biosequrity practices in forest systems of Argentina.
