Licenciado y Doctor en Ciencias Biológicas (Universidad de Buenos Aires)
Biologist and Doctor in Biological Sciences (University of Buenos Aires)
He conducted a postdoctoral fellowship funded by CONICET. Her work focused on analyzing the ecological patterns and mechanisms underlying novel insect–tree associations emerging in forest plantations with exotic species. In addition, she investigated the introduction pathways of bark beetles (Coleoptera: Scolytinae) in South America using genetic tools. The ultimate goal of her research was to assess the risk of new pest emergence in order to propose improvements to biosecurity practices in Argentina’s forest systems.
