Es investigador independiente del CONICET. Le interesan los mecanismos que determinan el comportamiento de los organismos y como afecta las interacciones entre seres vivos y el medio ambiente. Principalmente se ha dedicado a investigar las señales químicas que intervienen en el comportamiento y en la ecología de insectos con importancia económica.
